City as a School (CAS) is a marketplace of live online and in-person classes which connects young adult learners with inspirational teachers and mentors to develop real-world skills. They create a portfolio of projects, build a professional network and get placed at work opportunities.

City as a School is seeking partners from industry, philanthropic organisations, and foundations to support our mission of reducing inequality in education. Your contribution can support our mission of breaking down the financial barriers to obtaining the knowledge, skills, and networks necessary to succeed in today's economy. By partnering with us, industry partners have the opportunity to tap into our growing talent pool of young, self-motivated, digitally native problem solvers.

We’re currently accepting monthly flexible contracts with a minimum of $500 per month.

How will we deploy your contribution?

Financially your contribution subsidises classes, mentorship and guided projects in specific ‘pathways’ into an industry know as Guilds. You can decide which industry pathway to subsidise based on your organisation’s goals.

The contribution covers the cost of:

• People who run group sessions, classes, and guided projects from our industry partners. We call them "pathway managers".
• The cost of tuition for other learning experiences, bundled in a pathway, like guided projects, mentorship, and classes.

Learner Benefits

• Free to join: 6 week facilitated cycle to build a project, ending with a demo day.
• Portfolio of Projects: repeat 6 week cycles until they have a portfolio full of projects that will get them hired
• Professional Network: Meet mentors and industry experts in the guild.
• Opportunities: Book 1-1 sessions to get custom support
• Access to latest technology: Get free or educational discounts to the latest software
