What is City as a School?
City as a School (CAS) is a marketplace which connects inspiring experts to teens aged 14+ to learn real world skills.
Teens browse our selection of classes, guided projects and tutors. This allows each learner to build a custom curriculum based on their interests or their career goals.
Teachers get access to our network of motivated teens and simple tools to plan, deliver and grow their offerings and receive automated payments.
Isn't that what Outschools does?
Many people compare us to Outschool. We have many interest based classes like Outschool but differ in our focus which is exposing teens to different industry or career paths.
In classes they'll use the tools of the industry, working on projects that can be stacked in their portfolio and develop the soft-skills required to succeed in a career.
For example. we're building up our catalogue of classes and instructors to support teens who want to get into the 3D Animation roles working with Augmented and Virtual Reality, Unity and Unreal Engine 5.
The projects they'll build with their instructors will help them stand out when applying to work in movie animation, the gaming industry or making VR experiences and more.
We're also listing in-person learning around the city. For now this is available for London only.
